Kel sighed as she walked from Yuki's room. How could she have let her secret out? She hadn't even noticed she had. The words had just gone from her mind to Yuki's mouth. And about being herself. She was... Or she mostly was. He was the one who was acting weird. She was slightly more gruff than usual but no one noticed that. No one but Yuki that is. She could have sworn that the girl had telepathically abilities, but she knew that she didn't have the gift. She walked past her room, passing by Neal's room first. She heard yelling from the room, " For god's sake I could swear that she didn't like me. She is so pretty and smart I don't know what to do."

She heard Neal's drawl, " I didn't know Domitin of Masbolle could be confused by a girl." Her heart dropped. No matter what Yuki said he would never like her. He fell for beauties, not tall, stocky Kel with her hair cropped just under her ears. Not her. His new love was probably a short, thin beautiful girl with dimples. She hated girls with dimples. Boys always fell for them. She frowned, trying to get her Yamani mask back into place. It had never been so hard before. She felt like plopping down on her bed and crying. She almost never cried. How could he make her so disappointed? Not even Cleon had messed with her feelings like this. She didn't know why she was so disappointed. She had not expected him to like her. She reached her bed and stuffed her head into her pillow, and let the tears come out.
